Straw mammoth
A huge 6 meter monument that was born from the traditional straw culture of the rice fields in the Nanyo district of Ehime Prefecture. It has been created by volunteers from local residents for over 10 years, and the quality has improved year by year. It is also one of the symbols of Seiyo City, so it is a great photo spot. March-April: Bone mammoth for re-roofing June to September: Closed due to rice cultivation. In other seasons, keep it close to your feet.

You can compete for the best time by raging the 109 meter wooden hallway of a former elementary school. Although this experience is very strenuous, you will feel a great sense of accomplishment and will be able to carve memories that can only be made here. Closed on Mondays, we definitely recommend it.

Hiking course
Kasagi Pass Tumulus
This is the oldest keyhole-shaped tumulus in southwest Shikoku, thought to have been built around the beginning of the 4th century. Ehime University and local volunteers excavated and maintained it, resulting in its current state. From the ancient tomb, you can see a panoramic view of the Uwa Basin, as well as Yawatahama and Kyushu. It's a perfect location for hiking.
